Hot Rumor: Andrew Garfield and Jude Law Eyed to Star in 'Siegfried & Roy' Series From Imagine and Apple TV+

Plus, when does Denis Villeneuve expect to shoot 'Dune: Part Three,' and which Hollywood Chris is 'Fargo' creator Noah Hawley planning to work with next?

Happy Tuesday, folks!

I’m back in Boston this week, having successfully surprised Big Daddy for his birthday on Sunday despite a snowstorm that hit the area on Saturday.

I’ve been enjoying plenty of home cooking thanks to my brother and sister-in-law, while my other talented sister-in-law, Lauren Sneider, has launched a new interior design business called LRS Interiors, which creates residential spaces that seamlessly combine style, comfort, and functionality to reflect each client’s unique vision.

If you need to decorate your office with movie posters, you should definitely call me — but if you need to decorate your home, you should DM Lauren on Instagram. She has immaculate taste and everyone comments on how beautiful my brother’s home is. No one ever seems to comment on the decor of my one-bedroom apartment in Koreatown — just the lack of available wall space.

Anyway, yesterday, the Sneider family ventured to the movie theater to see the documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin. It was my father’s first time in a movie theater since the pandemic began, which is wild to think about, but I’m proud of him for working up the nerve again.

The fam dug the doc for the most part, but personally, I was a little underwhelmed, as it felt way too sanitized. I understand that securing the music rights is the most important thing for a documentary like that, but I hate that bands sand off all the edges of these films in exchange for those rights. And no “Stairway to Heaven?” Are you nuts? Oh, well…

In tonight’s newsletter, you’ll find out who Apple is looking at to play famed Las Vegas showmen Siegfried and Roy.

Plus, there are items about when Dune 3 might shoot, Donnie Wahlberg heading back to Boston, Chris Pine heading back to Texas, and Shane Gillis heading back to SNL. Oh, and a look at Pedro Pascal’s new movie — the one that isn’t from Marvel.
